Leaving FIT Solutions

Over the past few months I had the opportunity to join FIT Solutions as an IT Engineer. I’m grateful for the chance to step into the MSP world, meet a lot of smart and hard working people, and experience a very different side of IT. Even in a short amount of time I picked up a lot about processes, tools, and balancing multiple client environments.
I also learned something important about myself.
Sometimes a role and a person are not the right match. That does not mean anything negative about the company or the individual. It just means the environment did not line up with the way I work best. FIT is full of good people and they do a lot of challenging work for their clients. It simply was not the right place for me and that is completely fine.
The good part is that I tried something new. I pushed myself into a different style of IT work and gave it an honest effort. By doing that I came away with clarity about what I enjoy most in my career. I realized that I do my best work as an in-house IT administrator where I can stay focused on Microsoft services, identity, automation, and helping build and maintain reliable systems over time.
For now I’ll be continuing my work through my own business, TechSnazzy, and focusing on the things in IT that I enjoy the most. I’m also giving myself time to reset a bit. Sometimes you need a moment to breathe, clear your head, spend time with family, and remember that work is important but it is not the entire picture. Life is bigger than job titles and routines. Taking a step back can put everything in perspective.
I want to make it clear that I’m thankful for the chance to work at FIT. I learned a lot in three months and met people who genuinely care about what they do. Anyone reading this who is considering working there should know they have a dedicated team with a lot of talent.
If there is a message here, it is that it’s okay when something is not a perfect fit. What matters is that you learn from it, carry the experience forward, and keep moving toward the kind of work and life that feels right for you.
